seems like theres only a buncha tight assed people here (minus a few) that cant take sumthin lightly, but instead get bent out of shape in every way possible. talk about over reacting, geez. the "risk" i took was no greater than any other "kill" story ive ever read on this site. but these kills are probably taking place in broad daylight with other cars on the road. in my case the road was DESOLATE. there were no innocent people put at risk in any way. everyone involved fully agreed to do it and knew the possible consequence.

get a grip people.

I noticed that if you write about kills then you pretty much have to ignore half the posts. Seriously dont take it too hard because we are still young compared to some of the people on here and they out grew the smoking tire stage that many young'ens go through. Please dont take offense to the old statement either.......thanks

You have to get use to people judging you. Not saying that anyone in here does that, cause i dont want to be judge either.

Im not saying theres not bad people in here, but i have seen a lot of arguments go on. You just have to ignore the critisism.

My opinion, drag racing is safer at night. Isn't most 50s movies taken place at night when they got those drag races or am i watching to much Grease? Everytime you get into a car you have a risk of being killed. You never know if someone is going into your lane and hitting you headon. Either from a DUI driver or someones front driver side tire blowing out. I told my friend ive been learning how to ride a bike, and he is a ex biker said its really dangerous out, since hes been riding, in the 70s. His buddy just got killed a few weeks ago at the age of 38. Ive been riding at night 10pm, and its been pretty safe.

Dragracing in the day time is very risky. Too many cars, and a lot of idiotic drivers. Besides, if someone wants to dragrace you, they are choosing to risk their lives or their car, like the very funny story of the nissan blowing up. Most of the guys in here, only race if someone revs their engine first and we say okay you ask for it, cause we own fieros. In conclusion, they are risking their lives, if they choose to drag race, eventhough driving a car is dangerous.

Just my nonjudgmental opionions.

Man, just go out to a movie and miss all the nail-scratchin and name-callin. And now the thread is deleted? (or am I missing it?)
Voyd, don't think that I drive like Aunt Gertie on her way to Sunday meeting. But if visibility is so bad that you can't tell the difference between a Bonneville and a 6000, then chances are that the hyped-up, distracted, inexperienced driver in the other car might miss some type of road hazard that could pose to be fatal to his non-driving buddies.
Sure, no-one got hurt and the kid probably would have learned a good lesson by getting a ticket, but I think that uses the same logic that Russian Roulette teaches gun safety. If the hammer falls on the bullet, he'll never do that again!

Now, as far as the high-pitched histrionics of some, (no names) can;t say I didn't give you a heads up. Just don't get ourself involved in a pissing contest. You just wind up with wet pantlegs! Let it go.

What's the matter Voyd? You sound like you're ticked off that everyone here didn't slap you on the back and scream, "Way to go dude, you're the man!" If you feel like you've been treated poorly, that's just too damn bad. I can't believe that you are now trying to defend your actions. You start a thread by boasting how you were racing against a car full of teenagers at night on a wet road (complete with intersections) in the pouring rain doing more than 120 kph, and now you're upset because "theres only a buncha tight assed people here that cant take sumthin lightly". Wow, you are really incredible.

Deleting the original thread because it embarrassed you is one thing, but insulting people who were only trying to talk some sense into you is beyond belief.

Oh boy, here we go...

I have missed the original thread and it's now gone obviously, but I'm pretty sure this discussion doesn't benefit anyone.
