What is this and what does it do? Sorry about caps, I copied it form eBay. It seems like if it could adjust the rear camber and toe, it would be totally worth it! I think this is for front suspension though.

I believe it's only used for the front of the 88s, but I don't know how it's used.

I believe it slides onto each end of the upper cross shaft in front. Then the threaded jack screws push against the frame rail to hold the A-arm in place while the holding bolts are loosened. Once they are loose, you can adjust the end jack screws to dial in the desired settings, then tighen the bolts back down once complete. Probably is a little better than the loosen, bump, tighen, measure method.

Yes, Tools like this makes easier to adjust camber/caster w/o messing around. (They make many flavors of this tool for different models of cars.)
Odd that not listed in 88SM

Well I hope you bought the ones listed for $12.49 instead of the $25.00 ones.

I didn't see those, but I just bought a set for $18.97.
I'm about to do poly bushings. This will come in handy.

You should be able to set the tool the the current placement of the cross shaft before disassembly and then use it again to get it pretty close to where it originally was once the bushings are replaced. I would still recommend an alignment, but with the tool you should be able to get it closer to start with.

Oh yeah. It's getting an alignment. No question.
Figured I'd do your rear camber correction kit at the same time. Just have to source the camber bolts for the rear struts.
But I might wait and do coil overs, since I'm doing all that.
