Doing regular maintenance and want to check to see if my wheel bearings are in good shape? Can they be serviced or are both front and rear sealed? I don't drive the car on a regular basis so I dont know shattered to listen for.

All Fieros have sealed rear wheel bearings, the 88's also have sealed front units too. Jack up the car and with your hands at 3 and 9 o'clock move the tire in and out. If you feel play they are worn. Make sure the play is not from the tie rods. Sometimes it's easier to have someone else move the wheel so you can make sure the movement isn't cause by a steering component. Also, a bad wheel bearing will tend to make a growling noise when the car is moving in a turn. If the car makes more noise when turning left than when turning right, the right bearing is probably going because in a left turn the weight of the car is loading on the right wheel.
