Nothing came up on the search so I wanted to make sure what to get before I buy anything.

The stock Fiero flywheel and clutch are used when putting the stock 2.8 behind the Getrag F23?
Is there anything else I'll need to mate the engine/transmission? I have a list of everything else to do the swap. Thanks.

Yes, I've read it several times, as well as a thread about that thread discussing the shortcomings in how it doesn't specifically address which flywheel and clutch will work, nor does it really cover the 2.8 v6 behind the F23. It's more for an LSx with a little info applicable to a 3800 swap, so I'm still left wondering if the stock clutch will work for me.

I am in the same boat... I want to put my F23 up against my 2.8 for a while and then a 3500 when I have the time and money...

I currently have a LUK clutch kit, as it was a cheap stock replacement, for the time being, but I have have yet to be able to test fit it...

F23 accepts stock Fiero clutch and I believe it will take it´s (Cavakier) own clutch and flywheel. I´m marrying 3,4 DOHC and f23. It´s fine with stock Fiero clutch but hevy duty needs some adjustment (it´s too large).

Earlier Fiero v6's were externally balanced. Are you sure the Cavalier flywheel would work on it?

I'm not the most experienced mechanic, but from what I"m seeing, the 2200 SFI has no weights on the flywheel. Eternally balanced V6 != internally balanced I4. The clutch, sure. The flywheel, I really don't see that working.

This thing?

I didn't have any luck at the local yards finding that bleeder/adapter/connector thing. I ended up getting one at Rockauto for $50 or so for a 2000 Alero.
