The resistor for the two speed cooling fan on my Fiero is broken and I can't find a replacement. Can anyone give me an idea what to do other than wiring in a aftermarket cooling fan system ..
Can I just wire around the resistor and just use one speed and would that affect the a/c ?

The resistor should be the same as most of the GM vehicles of that era. Look at wrecking yards if you can't get a new one.

Anyone have the schematics about that resistor? It seems like something could be made to replace it.

Just eliminated that for now.

0.3 ohm
5% tolerance (Lower is better)
Watts? 50-100 guessement
More watts mean resistor has long life.

Digikey, Mouser, and others carry ceramic and Aluminum bodies.

Mouser search use 300 or 330 mohm (0.33 is more standard )
Maybe try this
