Is there anyway to tell if a trans is a 4T65E HD by just looking at it??

The pass side axle is larger diameter where it goes into the tranny so if a normal axle fits it is not an HD, also the torque convertor bolt pattern is different where it bolts to the flywheel for the larger diameter convertor used in the HD trannies. Other then that with out tags the HD and non HD look alike.
