Hey so I've got a 3.5L LX9 swapped into my Fiero and my tach is reading high, just wondering what could cause this. Before the engine swap, the tach was reading high with the stock 2.8 as well (by about the same amount). The new engine has DIS so there is no tach filter. With my laptop hooked up and datalogging I can see the actual engine RPM.
So do I just need to replace my tach or is there something else going on? Alternator seems to be charging fine, at around 14V.
