I tore apart an 02 gtp for the eng/trans and took out the power steering rack and asked myself "I wonder if I could mod this and add it to my fiero kit car?" Of course I have no idea, so please give me your ideas. Thanks as usual guys.
Note : This is going in a kit car with a 3800sc from the same 02 GTP.

Forgot to mention it is going in a kit car fiero (murcielago) with a 3800sc from the same car. Tires are wider and car will have more weight do to my love for fabbing heavy metal and overdoing everything

Won't work. The GTP is rear steer (rack behind the wheels) and Fiero is front steer. Your steering would be backwards unless you converted to rear steer or right hand drive and flipped the rack over.

If I recall what I researched alot of people use the Camero/Firebird or a corvetter rack. Im sure someone will pop in with a bit more specific details.

C4 Vette ZR1 rack - needs a fabricated bracket and two fabricated adapters for the tie rods. 4th Gen F-Body - Needs the same items but it looks like the adapters are easier to have made.
The ZR1 rack fits under the spare tire tub. I didn't read if the F-Body required any Tire Tub modifications.
I happen to have a 92 ZR1 rack with lines and cooler. So I didn't pay too much attention to the Camaro portion.
The only place I know of to buy a kit for installing power steering is West Coast Fieros. Their's appears to us an F-Body steering rack. Their page says to view a link to see the different racks that can be used but it's a broken link. I think this might be where they're trying to send you but it doesn't say what the racks came from. In fact, when you mouse over the image, it says "muffler" so the page could use some work, lol.
But if you're creative, you could do like Rickaddy describes in the link I shared earlier.
And yes, I think the 3800 pump should work. I'm hoping so anyway. That's what I will try when I get around to the power steering project.

As for electric, I read where some were avoiding those setups, but I am ignorant to them. I am wanting the easiest, most economical setup known. Does that lead back to the f-body or electric?
