ive got the RED wire taken care of, my question is about the GRY wire on the SC3 connector. what is done with this one?

since i seem to be getting so many PM's about my hitch, ill answer right here
the trailor hitch/bike rack hitch jack, lifting and resting points...

Try running it without the field duty cycle wire (grey wire) hooked up. It *should* work ok.

The older style alternators had field duty cycle wires too; in some applications it was connected to the PCM, in others, it wasn't hooked up at all. Those alternators worked ok without it hooked up (as long as the red wire / alternator turn-on circuit was hooked up).
