So I went today to build my wires and thought this was simple compared to the rest of issues I have had. Then I search and find this. First picture is my ICM/coils. As you can see locaztions 1 and 4 are swapped on mine compared to the others. Then location 6 & 3 is swapped in two compared to the drawing.
My question is, where should I put plug wire 4 for example? At the location #4 on my coil? Or at the location marked #4 on the other references (i.e. at #1 in my coil)?
Thanks.

My setup:

With the waste spark system it makes no difference which wire goes on which terminal of the individual coil.

The coil pack fires both plugs attached to it at the same time.

Also note that any two wires going to a single coil-pack can be switched around.

That may make neatly routing spark plug wires easier.

The picture should show the banks slightly offset due to the non-forked connecting rods.

http://www.gmtuners.com/tech/index.htm (see bottom picture for 3800 apps)

With the 3800 installed in the Fiero engine bay; the cylinder bank that faces the front of the car is the odd bank with cylinder 1 at the end where the belt(s) are (cyl 5 is on the end where the trans bolts up). The cylinder bank that faces the rear of the car is the even bank, with cylinder 2 facing where the belt(s) are (cyl 6 is on the end where the trans bolts up).
