I started rebuilding my Gen 2 headlights and twisted the head off one of the side cover screws. I have a screw gauge tool and the screws that did come out do not match up to anything on my gauge. As the screw heads are an English size, the screws must be an English thread size. The closest I can come to on my gauge is an 8-32, but that is not it. Does anyone know for certain what the thread size/pitch is for these screws?
I'm guessing it is 8-36 but I won't know until I can locate an 8-36 nut at a hardware store.
