One hose goes from the top of the valve to the top of the supercharger housing.

And that's actually all you need. Or at least for best performance. Bottom one goes to the bottom of the SC through the solenoid valve.

I typically plug these.

Remove the gray solenoid, and the line going to the bottom of the bbv.

Most use this for brake booster.

thanks for the reply DH! but as i am a curious person and like to know how things work, why do you plug the lines? and what did they originally do?

and why do you take out the grey solenoid? what did it do? and how will these changes effect the engine?

thanks again

One is for the brake booster stock, and most will change that to go off of the evap port on the throttle body, the other is for heater controls inside of the FWD car that it came out of.

The solenoid is just something that gives the pcm the ability to limit boost. I have yet to see a factory PCM even use this device in normal every day driving, so why increase clutter and wiring? A few of the tuner guys use these solenoids and you can usually get a few bucks out of them. Remember to leave the bottom port of the BBV open and let the vacuum at the top operate it correctly.
