Ok, who has the best muffler with regard to deep throaty sound? I know with the V6 you can only expect so much, but I have heard some that sound really, really good and it's kind of difficult to ask "What Muffler are you using" while you are moving down the road. It often looks like you saying "What Mother &^%@!$, are you a Loser" . Anyway, y'all get the gist
I have a Flowmaster 80 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLO-42583/. The shop I took it to couldn't get it to fit unless I cut 2 1/2" out of the body. There is an empty space near one end that makes it possible. It has the deep sound you're looking for at idle and acceleration but it is pretty quiet on the highway.
Listen to Borla also,,it is the most expensive However.. ...Cherry bomb glasspack has the best sound,,especially on a duke ,idle just a little loud on V6 ..For top horsepower at a low price ,, use a dynomax superturbo,,it has to be mounted where the stock muffler was,,the futher back a turbo muffler is mounted ,the better the performance gain.. ..glasspacks do not produce as much power as Turbo mufflers

This is what a Spintech and no cat will get you. It's my favorite sounding 60* ever.
It doesn't sound that great when you rev it in neutral (Although great at idle), but when you get on it and WOT through a gear, it sounds awesome. That way the ricers can hear my REAL exhaust as I pull away from them.

I've had a a couple of borla systems on my vettes and they sound great, really deep. Are they still being made for the Fiero or do you have to build with universal parts. I can't find anything on Borla.com.... not even a muffler that would fit.

I have a Cherry Bomb Extream and I have had many comments on how deep an throaty it sounds.
isnt that the muffler that has a really small case and a single wing plate inside? if so i thought you couldn't mount it like stock because it only flows one way?
