Forgot what car, but it was an end link off the rear suspension. If you have your 4.9 mounted to the cradle, just grab a quick measurement from yours. I am sure mine specifically came from a domestic, but have done others that have come off some import.

Not a good picture, but should give you an ideal of mine (between the exhaust and the right strut - from the head to the cradle):

I welded a motor mount to the front cross member of the cradle. Using this 4 point mount for the power train I did not use a torque strut. I have been drive the car for 5 years with no problems.

88 rear lateral link is a perfect fit...

You can also use a 4cyl dogbone and make the bracket for the engine:

I have an Ed Park's swapped 4.9 in my Formula - no dogbone. Front and rear trans mounts (4T60E), mount on balancer end of motor, and a front and rear mount partway inboard on the motor to the subframe. VERY SOLID!!!

X2

I had occasion to pull mine out, over the winter, to replace oil pan, timing cover and water pump gaskets.
I was quite impressed with how solid the mounting was.

I did not use a dog bone on my 4.9 swap. I made motor mounts for each side of the engine and used GM 350 turbo poly trans mounts from parts store motor was planted solid. I also replaced trans mounts with new ones.
