Folks:
The following link will take you to a video of the first run of Chris West's personal car taken on 3/30/2009 (on a very windy day) :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7Y-80dGisA The turbo was not functioning as the air box was not complete.
We will follow up with detailed build information and future work to get the car ready for the Thunder on the Mountain Car Show (details here:
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/075094.html ) as well as for WestFeast Car Show and the WCF BBQ.
Regards,
David

Folks: In the calm tranquility of the Tehachapi moutains, many things move faster for some strange reason. Regards, David

Yeah, but watch out for those Kern county cops, I got a ticket for 5 over on 58 last year.
Definetely going to stop and check that car out next time I get through there.

Folks:
The cops stay at home on windy days!
If you are in the area, drop by and come to the BBQ (April 24-25-26):
The air box is almost finished and we will do another vidio in a few days.
Regards,
David

The Fiero will not be running then. Most of it is sitting all over the floor. BUT we might still be there?
Do you have an update and pics of the LS4? You can PM so the subject of this thread does not change.

(have to filter out the wind noise though.)

Folks:
Sorry about the lack of pics, updates, etc. Chris is still tuning without the Turbo and just got the PCM unlocked a couple of days ago.
Here is the latest:
http://picasaweb.google.com...ZqwE&feat=directlink Perhaps the turbo will be hooked up before or at the BBQ on April 25. Hope to see you there.
Regards,
David

Was he doing a flow balance on each stack?

In the Video You will notice we are using a flow meter on the Weber throttle bodies.
The other problem we are encountering is when you open 8 ports at once with an 8 LB flywheel and throttle it is really hard to control the 1500 to 2000 RPM launch. The throttle response is almost instantaneous.
