I dont plan on a build thread yet, but here are some pics of my new dash going in.

It is an 09 Malibu LTZ in Ebony and Brick Red. I am using some fake suede to cover the Brick Red and match my car.

This is not exactly an "easy" swap the way I am doing it. I am installing the 09 Malibu dash with the 06 Mote Carlo gauges, radio heater controls and all the switches. Along with that I am installing the duel climate control HVAC from the Monte. I am using the Monte steering column and Malibu tap shift steering wheel.
The reason for the swap is to make my 2006 Mote Carlo SS LS4 smog legal.

If you look close you will notice that the headlight, trunk release, dimmer and traction control switches from the Monte is grafted in the Malibu dash were the electronic foot pedal switch is The Malibu had steering column mounted headlight switches.

The dash has not been narrowed yet. I would rather cut into the door panels and modify them for the wider dash. I looks to be about an inch wider than the Fiero. As is the dash fits in the car, but the doors don't close all the way.
