Is there a gasket for the thermostat housing for a tech 4?

Yes, there definitely is. It's not very big, but basically nothing more than a small flat paper gasket. They come with a head gasket kit, but you can also order it seperately. Any local auto parts store should have it though.

Yes, I just put one in, BUT, I put the Red Gasket maker on both sides of it to make sure !

Most parts stores should have something.

If you can't find one... get some gasket material and make one.

In either case... Use a THIN layer of RTV silicone on both sides.

Make sure all the metal is very clean and dry. Let the RTV set over night if possible before filling the system.
