I can't find my ECM number on the program. Its 1226156 from an 84 4cyl. Now I found this on the website:

1225550
1225570 ecm#'s.....which to use?
1225610

For:

1982 5.0 V8 CFI '7' LU5
1982 5.7 V8 CFI '8' L83
1982-86 1.8 L4 TBI 'O' LH8
1982-86 2.5 L4 TBI 'R' LR8 <--engine type. This one is mine right?
1982-86 2.5 L4 TBI 'U' L68
1982-86 2.5 L4 TBI '2' LQ9
1985-86 2.5 L4 TBI 'E' LN8
1983 5.0 V8 CFI 'S' LU5

I don't know much about the program. Trying to learn but I need the right number. Help!

I have never had a 4 but try the 1227170.

It works on all v6's.

It will not hurt anything to just try different ones and see if the data on the Sensor Data tab make since. If the reading are off then just try another.

If you get around to doing any datalogging don't bother with anything but checking the sensor data.
