How much depth is behind the seats? I am thinking of putting a sub in. I have seen where guys cut the carpeting behind the seat. Is there anything that I need to be careful of...ie: wires?

Check out this build by Xanth. Half way down you can see the wire runs for the ECM and where he has things mounted. He is the best candidate to ask about space.

Also this is from member Bradester..

Here is my setup. Im happy with it and I didnt lose too much leg room at all. Its a Pioneer 10" and only needs about 3" for the box.

I saw where someone on here mounted a sub behind the drivers seat by cutting out the rear carpeting. I have searched and I cannot find the thread. Does anyone know where it is?

Fiero1Fan did that on the SteelLady, actually cutting a hole through the firewall and mounting the sub:

Not my picture,but why not something like this?

Just purchase a low profile speaker and you won't even have to move the computer.
