Is the tube,in the picture below needed? I asume it's for a coolant over flow bottle or am I wrong?Do I need it or not??? I think that tube was origionall attached to the heater core.Thanks.

if thats a stock 2.8 thermo neck, then that goes to the heater core input

mmm a supercharged 33800, that would be on bad a** engine!

Anyway, yea thats a heater hose line. Whether or not you need it depends on how you plumb your engine. I didnt use is like that, just hooked into the side of the intake and the other line directly.
