front and rear stock rotor interchangeability by hklvette

Hi all,

I'm curious. The front and rear rotors look the same, but the P/Ns for them are not. Is the difference that the fronts are machined out for the larger hub? If so, I'm planning on picking up two sets of slotted/vented rears and machining a set out to fit the front (I have access to multiple lathes).

Stock front rotors are one piece with the hub on 84 to 87. The rears are two piece. If you have two piece rotors (the rotor is seperate from the hub) then somone has done some kind of brake upgrade.

well that's a bummer...the rotors REALLY need replacing. Sitting for about 5 years has pitted them pretty bad, so i figured it'd be nice to upgrade to vented rotors.
