I would like to remove the stock metal bracket behind the radio (the one with the hole which supports the stock radio mounting peg). I need the extra depth for an aftermarket unit. Is there any better way than what I have in mind (using a hacksaw)? Thanks.

Um, duh, I did a search and found lots of good answers. Should have tried that first. I figured it out. Thanks anyway...
