ive heard that the 12" corvette brake upgrade can only be done with the 88 cradle? Is this true? Id rather stick with the cradle i have, so whats the best brake upgrade i can do with the 87 cradle.

As far as I can tell up to 13" brakes can be done on a '84-'87. But I'm still learning the intricacies of the swap myself.
(12" seem to be fairly "easy": search for Bubbajoexxx. - I'm still trying to understand all the details of that thread.)
. __________ Things I don't know yet: How to do a 13" brake swap on a budget. (say ~$500) I also don't know if the stock spindles will hold up to bigger brakes. Will the stock bearings hold up? How will the brake lines be done? (where would I get SS line in the right lenght?) Does the stock fiero MC (master cylinder) work? (if not, which other MC's will work? Are they bolt-in?) How does brake bias (front-rear) change from stock?
