You will need 4 back ones 7 inches 88

But the pre-88 7 inches are the same
As for the front ones they are 6 inches on the 88
Don't know if that will make a difference in handling though .
But for fitting they fits

Thanks guys, I guess I should make my question a little more clear.

I know the 7" lace wheel are the same - question is will the 6" 88 front wheels fit the front on pre 88 cars without hitting anything on the suspension?

As I recall, the 7" wheels don't fit on the front of 88's due to the offset, but maybe I'm wrong. Reason for question is that I have a set of black lace 88 wheels that I'm thinking about putting on my 86 for a while to exercise the rubber. (Plus I want to see how the 225-50x15's handle on the back)

The one they came off of liked 'em just fine, lol...IIRC, the '88 fronts should fit okay on the pre-88 cars. (The pre-88 wheels have clearance probs on the '88's.) If you look at the wheels, you'll notice there's an extra bit of "lip" on the outside edge of the 7" rear wheels that isn't there on the 6" front wheel. I'm pretty sure the backspacing is the same front and rear.

YES. I have 88 wheels on my 87. No issues. Steering is heavy, but I think it is no change from before.
