i'm starting to get my car dialed in a little bit. i ordered a set of 275/45/17 m/t drag radials for the car. i've got a 75 shot for the car i'm putting on it this week. well heres my mods
l32 long block ported blower with 2.9 N* TB and ls6 maf Stg 2 intercooler with 2.5 gallon resivor xp cam, 1.6rr's, double roller triple edge trans with 3.29's pacesetters nx express progressive kit with 50, 75, and 125 jet kit
well you get my point. in two weeks i'm doing pinks all out up in gainesville. with the mods i have minus the nitrous i think i'll be mid to high 11's. right now i'm running 12.6 with the intercooler off. going back for some more tuning wednesday. but what i'm getting to is i need to be an 11.0 car i think to compete. i'm pretty sure they are picking 9 second cars this time. i know a few guys going that are bring cars like that anyways is what i'm aiming for possible with some good tuning in the next few weeks? if you guys don't mind post up what you have done, your 60' 1/4 and mph's. if you have drag radials and what size tire they are. thanks!

Its all about getting it tuned right where everything is happy and working together in peace. But with what you have, I dont think you will see 11.0 run being once you hit the high 11s, the rest of the way down is hard to reach. The thing is if you are running a 2.9 pulley with no IC/KR them once you hook the IC up, you are not going to be gaining much if anything. The IC is made to work in conjuction with being able to drop pulleys to gain more HP. Since you are already a 2.9 pulley with no IC then you have accoplished what the IC would do for you. Unless your time listed above is with a bigger pulley, then of course the IC will be a help once you drop pullies.
IMO the tires you ordered are to big(17s) and you should go with a 15 inch MT drag radial instead.
i can't go smaller then 17's. i've got vette brakes. i autox and road race the car mainly so i upgraded to big brakes. the intercooler is already on the car. i've just been really slow on tuning. i like starting way back and moving forward very slow. i'm only running 15-16 total timing. orginally i pulled timing and ran it rich because i was racing 30 mile sessions at roebling raceway with it and i didn't want to blow it. i reprogrammed it this morning bumping the timing to 18 degrees. i'm hoping to get it around 20 total and pull a little more fuel out of it. what have you run with your car?

Nice! I want to go down and watch the taping of one of those in person some day. You never know, they may decide to pick 11's for a change. When Pinks first started I thought it was cool, but it's more a contest of who can whine and ***** the most now. Nothing like having to give some import guy 15 lengths to "even things up", and have him bust an axle because he's doing a 4000rpm dump right in the sticky stuff! All Out gets rid of all that and actually shows what the cars can do, I love it. Good luck man, and if you find out when it's going to air let us all know!

nice setup, our's are pretty close. you got me by .1" on the pulley. i was going through my scans last night and my car is going to second at 41 mph. i pulled another two percent of fuel also. i'm still lacking a few mph so i guess i'll find out wednesday. thanks again for posting your mods.

When I ran on street tires, I ran a 12.8 @ 114 with a 1.9 60' for the best run. I read that on drag radials/slicks that your MPH is cut down. The highest I have trapped with my drag radials is 111 MPH. I am starting to think what I read is true.
i've heard that to. my mph was actually higher with my sticky tires. the 60 was 3 hundreths slower though. 118mph is damn fast though. what is done to his car?!?
