Long story short - I lost the mounting stud at the point where the EGR tube attaches to the EGR valve mount. Can anyone tell me what size bolt I could replace it with? Or is the stud something I can pick up at AutoZone?

This is on a V6 by the way - if it makes a difference.

Looking at a V6 EGR tube to EGR valve stud and nut - a 10 mm wrench fits on the hex nut.
Then the stud should be a 6 mm x 1.0, length is about 28 mm.

That would be my guess, I don't have a metric thread gauge to confirm. Maybe others can confirm the size.
I would stay with a stud / nut as it will make removal later easier.

And a plus for you. It was a 6x1 but I used a 30 mm long as the 27.5 looked a little short. Now she runs about a thousand RPM slower. She is still about 600 RPM to high but atleast I know it's not a cracked tube.

Thanks for the help.
