I just bought a 1990 corvette tpi for my swap now I'm looking for a ecm what I'd like to know is if one of these ecms cam run an auto tran like a 4t65e/hd

Most TPI guys run the speed density ecm from the 91-92 TPI cars (7730). However, no stock TPI ecm can control the 4T65E/HD.

If you want to run that trans, you could go with a stand alone tranny controller. Or look into running OBD2 with the 411 ecm to control the 4T65E/HD tranny

aahhh thank you thats what I'll be doing then is looking at stand alone controllers
