We had alot of snow today and while driving to work the right side wipe blade arm
came off and suddenly I am driving with two blades on the driver's side.
The gears are stripped on the post that holds it on,
I am wonder if J.B, weld would fix it or should I look for a different post?
Thanks for your help......Cliff

JB weld while very good will not hold it very long.
I'd say replace it, or you could drill a small hole thru both parts and pin it. Could also JB weld with the pin if you wanted.

Yup drill it and put in a roll pin. if you do it right most people will never notice it. problem is steel roll pins will get forever lodged into the aluminum if you leave it that way for a couple of years.

I happen to have quite a few parts for the wiper assembly and would be happy to send you what you need. Is the part the serrated stud that bolts to the car that the wiper arm fits on or is it the wiper arm that is broken? Email me at rustyboltz48@yahoo.com

i bet the grooves are just fine.
the metal of the arm is very soft and will stripped off leaving the post ok.
take the point of a box knife or a pick and try to scrape the grooves clean on the post.
then you just need to get a new arm.
