There is an article on porting in the march 2008 issue of super chevy that will be of interest to expert and novice alike. there is also an article on modification of a chevy caprice, this includes info on modification of a 4L60e that may help those with a a GM 4 speed auto, $5.oo or 10 minutes at the grocery store magazine stand.. When porting bigger is not better..(TIP) When porting press a bottle cap or plug tightlly in the valve seat area to protect the seat, you are going to spend a lot of time porting ,,spend the time to protect your seats by making a protector..when working near the seat use duct tape on the seat at a minimum..
