When I bought my Fiero a few months ago the driver's side electric window didn't work and the passenger side worked like new. The other day I went to roll down the passenger side and it too wouldn't work. I pulled the console out and looked at the switches, they were both corroded. So is this the problem? (may sound like a stupid question, but I just don't know much about electrical)

Thanks!

It could simply be a blown fuse too. Always check those when dealing with electrical problems. That said, yes it could be corroded switches. It could also be dead lift motors too. You have to do a little testing and cleaning to verify where your problem is located. Do you have a multimeter? These are fairly cheap from places like Harbor Freight or even Home Depot. The digital ones are best for ease of reading the display.

Would a dirty switch be enough to make one window REALLY slow ?

The vid is good- i guess It'd be good to clean up the switches anyway.

Just my personal experience with window switches.
My drivers side window was slow to go up or down and I sometimes had to push the switch in twice to get it to work.
I bought a new switch from The Fiero Store and it was like night and day.
My window now goes up and down smooth and fairly quick.

Cool. Does the circuit breaker automatically reset?
