I cannot find where the voltage regulator is located on my 86 SE V6. CAn anybody help? Possibly even a picture of the location?

It is directly below holder for the brushes. Once you've craked open the alternator you need to remove the diode tree (three nuts and one bolt) then remov ethe remaining two bolts that hold the brushes and regulator.
