Just a thought while searching for a set of axles for my F-40, has anyone looked at the G6 / Cobalt wheel hub to see if it could be fitted into the stock fiero knuckle? The bennefit in my mind would be using the outer half of the F-40 axle as well, instead of adapting to the fiero outer axle half. I'm assuming the wheel stud pattern is different at the very least. Any ideas?

The cobalt ss axles already have an outer joint that works with the fiero hub. The problem is the axles lengths need to be changed if mounting the transmission in the original lateral location.

Is this just the Cobalt SS, or does the G6 share a similar hub size?

As far as i know the G6 has a different hub spline than the fiero.

I'm not sure if the 5 lug bearing assembly has the same bolt pattern & step diameter.
