Just a few quick questions. Can the rear hub assembly on an 88 GT be taken apart? If not why is this? Are you not supposed to be able to replace the bearings? Has anyone attempted to? What was the outcome?

Thanks
Vinny

Rear hubs on all Fiero's are the same, 84 - 88. Some folks have been able to take them apart but generally speaking they are non-servicable.

I found a thread that has good info on other types of hubs like the type on the Fiero but what I'm wondering is what holds the assembly together? I don't want to try mine because I don't want to ruin mine. I figure the hub probly can't be seperated without damage but I was wondering why. To me it sounds odd that it would be feezable to make the assembly nonreparible. Just a thought.
