ok, my tach will sometimes work and sometimes not. it will stick at a random rpm sometimes and other times read compleatly off. sound like the filter to you guys? or is it the tach itself? i can get a cluster from a 86 v6 but i have an 87 4 cyl. and as i understand it a resister needs to be swapped, any one have info on that as well?
