Ok I just need to know the dist shaft firing order rotation. Is it clockwise or counterclockwise. I want to back the timing out a couple degree's.

The rotor turns counter clockwise so turn the distributor counterclockwise to retard the timing.

...for future reference, the firing order is cast into the intake manifold and the cylinder numbers are molded into the coils cover
