Walbro makes several different pumps and use the rating high flow and high volume which lead me to be a bit more careful during the search. Check this site out which has some ratings listed for the Walbro pump, do a search for fuel pumps, I used it to locate a SPEC clutch, search by vehicle to narrow it down:

The part number you're looking for the pump is F2000169 with 400-1016 install kit. This will give you the High Pressure 255LPH kit. The best pricing I've seen is from the ExpressFuelPump eBay store - see details here http://cgi.ebay.ca/85-86-GM-Pontiac-Fiero-2-8L-255LPH-Walbro-Fuel-Pump_W0QQitemZ290030678316QQihZ019QQcategoryZ33555QQcmdZViewItem
Everybody list the kit for the 85 - 86 Fiero only, but I've contacted them and they confirmed that it will work on the 87 - 88 as well. I think the only difference is that the later models might have a longer connecting pipe for the bigger fuel tank. Just compare your original installation depth with kit and lengthen the pipe if required.
