To supplement the good information provided by spark1 and answer your specific question, it's a M12x1.75 (grade 12.9) Torx head cap screw 53 mm (2.1 inches) long. (Note: 53 mm is the grip length, not the overall length including the head.)

Thanks for the info. We'll look for one first thing in the morning. We found one the right diam. and pitch, but too long. Figured we might as well try to get the real McCoy.

The Fiero Store sells a replacement 88 caliper bolt. It's a hex head instead of torx, but other than that it's a direct replacement.

You can also get hex head replacements from McMaster-Carr: part number 91290A626 is a grade 12.9, M12 x 1.75 socket head cap screw, 50 mm long, with a black oxide finish ... quite a bargain at $13.81 for a lifetime supply (i.e. a pack of 25).
