last night i replaced my ignition switch on top of the column and now i dont have any spark to the engine. I also tried to replace the coil and that wasnt it either. Checked my fuses and right now i am going to go get a test light. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i should diagnose the problem. The car started fine before i replaced the switch. Help please! Thank you

Well............if it worked before you changed the switch I would have to think the problem is either the new switch or the connector on it...........sorry that isn't much help........but all I can suggest....unless something just happened to break right after you changed the switch.......I have heard igniton modules can do that.

edit:
Does the starter turn the engine????? If not maybe the new switch is not adjusted correctly.

UPDATE: The two wires in the front of the coil have power to them. But the coil has no spark. Does anyone know how it works from there? i believe the next thing to check would be the ignition module. HELP!!!

Thanx don... i made sure they are secure. tried again. My mechanic father told me to check to see if the injectors were clicking. NOPE... so we narrowed it down to the ignition module. Thanx for all the help guys. The weird thing is that we JUST changed the darn thing like under a year ago... HMMM... weird. Anyway thanx again and goodnight.
