I started experiencing slight hesitation in throttle response and a slightly higher rpm at idle in my 88GT. I thought I'd try an easy fix first since I haven't cleaned out any carbon since I used Ed Parks de-carbonizing kit back in October so I sprayed about half a can of STP cleaner into the throttle body while manually reving and what a difference it made! Shouldn't this be done more often than most vehicles since our cars seem to make more carbon build-up? Does anyone recommend a better throttle cleaner?

I totally hosed down my TB on the 87 because it was filthy with some 'sensor safe' cleaner. Had to replace the TPS right after that. Guess you have to be conservative with the stuff.
