That's a great post dealing with reverse lights. Thanks.

I'm looking for details concerning the tranny shim adjustment. We have lots of threads covering the basics, cables, alignment and bushings, but nothing to do with the shims.

Here is a picture of where you put the pins for the 4 speed

This is my spare so pardon the rust, the one in my car only had the place to put the pin for the select cable.
But what a difference.

Thanks Jake_ that chart is usfull, but I am looking for more details and photos from people who have done the procedure. I find the diagram a little confusing.

Perhaps someone can post the information from the shop manual.
