Im using a 3.1 crank from a cavy Fiero 2.8 rods and Fiero 86 gt block ..what do i ask for when i grab bearings ( mains and rod )

The 3.1 crank has the same journal diameter as your '86 2.8. So you can ask for 2.8 or 3.1 main/rod bearings and it won't make a difference.

Oops, yeah.... those are Federal Mogul part numbers - but I think they line up with a few other people now too (since the "big buy out" where everybody was buying out everybody last year).
