Hey folks!

I did a search for this in the archives, and found PN 20564860 for the GT deck lid trunk seal.

When I go to GM Parts Direct, the description sounds like this number goes to the recall decklid weatherstirp that goes against the rear window.

I'd hate to order it not knowing if it was the correct part or not.

Thanks in advance!

If you're not sure you could always try the Fiero store. I know they used to have them there.

They do, they're just $50 more there.

That's the same # I've got written down... Did the price go up recently?? In my list-o-parts, I have $65 listed... I can't remember what I paid though. Bought mine from a local GM dealer that I worked for, along with the sunroof one. I can triple-check the part number tomorrow when I go work on the car if you want to be 110% sure, but I think that's it. $100 is a bit much for a recall weatherstrip thing.

I'd appreciate it. The Fiero Store is selling it for $157 and GM Parts Direct lists it for $102...but I am not sure they are the same part. I'm looking for the trunk seal (the square piece), not the recalled window weatherstrip. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Well, why would GM still stock and sell a recalled item?

LOL... Ya never know... Checked my reciept... The P/N is correct for the rear trunk seal - 20564860. If you happen to know someone at the dealership - my price was $96.99, that was employee cost. (no shipping if you order it local too...) 1 of the only good things about working for the dealership there (employee discount that is..) - the other was using the lifts. The P/N for the sunroof seal is 20528472, for $56.18 if you're interested.
