Random Lessons of Life presents...

Things to Teach Your 16 y/o Sister:
DO NOT PUT PENNIES [or other conductors of electricity] IN THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER!!!
- moral of the story: if you value your radio, don't have your sister get the change from when you fill up w/ gas.

Question: which fuse deals with the radio?

Hi Janell
the fuse you are looking for is the middle one on the row but one from the bottom..it has radio written just belowe it...the only problem
i can see, is that this is not the fuse for the cigarette lighter...that is the one just above it, to the right, with BAT written below it.I really canīt see how it is possible to blow this fuse by shorting out the lighter, but there you go!!
Good luck!!

It's the Ctsy fuse.. i did the same thing ... damn pennys! if the letters on ur fuse block are worn off use the diagram in your owners manual.. and if you still cand find it just pull all of them and test them. I will bet you cash that its the CTSY fuse , and not the rear ctsy fuse , theres 2 .. i got them confused and spent 2 hours trying to figure it out....

If you don't smoke (I hope you're not that dumb), disconnect the wire to the lighter and it will never happen again. You might want to check the back of the fuse block to make sure it didn't melt anything for other curcits.

I use it for my cell charger... or else I would have disconnected it awhile ago. and thanks for the tip on the back of the fuse block. I'll go check now.
