Me again...I need to bolt my engine stand to my 4.9 and the only place in town has to order them so I need to know for sure.
I was told 10mm x 1.75 and also 10mm x 1.50 which one is it?
Thanks,Paul

My '91 shop manual lists those six holes as M12 x 1.75.

Sorry that my recollection from memory was not correct....but at least I'm in good company. Ed was right on diameter but off on the pitch. I was wrong on the diameter but right on the pitch.

I just pulled a belhousing bolt from one of my 92 Allante engines and the bolt is as follows:

Diameter: 12mm ( .472")
actual bolt measurement of thread major diameter is .465"

Pitch: 1.75mm ( .06889")

Length of bolt ( for my engine stand) 88 mm ( 3.46")

Hope that clears up the confusion and corrects my earlier error.

Kerry

I went to my local fastener supply shop and bought a short piece of all thread (metric) and nuts of the correct size. was a lot cheaper then buying bolts.
