I wiggled the temp sensor wires in hopes that I might've had a broken connection, but the temp light didn't flicker one bit. I also disconnected the battery to reset the computer, but that didn't help.
So to review:
My temp dummy light is always on
My engine is surging when cold
My engine stalls at idle when starting up and then idles low and sometrimes stalls.
I press the gas and get a hesitation then the car lurches forward as if catching up to my request to move.
The SES is not on.
The sensors are all about a year old at most. The ignition is also a year, the engine is about 6 months old and all were put in by me.
Is it possible that because I only have the air filter housing connected and no water seperator or air intake that I'm getting too much air? Like running anopen throttle body?
