It has been a while, but I think the name was Plastic Welding System... or close to that. I got it from WalMart, and it is a two part mixture. It came in two syringes like the two part epoxy that you see in the hardware stores, but it is not clear like epoxy. It has a dark white color to it. The stuff works really good for this type of repair.
The newest ones are still 16 years old and brittle as he11. It's unlikely the one's on eBay are any better than the one you already have. I found it doesn't really matter and don't fasten down any of the screws anyway. It makes it that much quicker when you want to work on the car.
thank you silver86se for finding the one on ebay and i just went down to autozone today and got the special plastics only glue and tomorow morning i will see if i bonded it or not. Mine is broken almost in half so if it didnt bond ill think about yours bluegt87. thank you all for the helpful info.

If it is glue, it will probably not work very good. The two part plastic epoxy/JB weld works really good because it does several things things that glue does not do. It replaces the missing plastic, it fills all cracks, it gives you new holes, and it restores structural rigidity. Glue only bonds the already brittle cracked pieces together, and many times the crack will come back as soon as you put a screw in it because the plastic was brittle before the repair
Mine was also nearly broken in half where the mount holes under the ashtray are. You would never know it after the repair.
Good luck
BTW, I never tighten those screws with a wrench. I put them in finger tight, then I snug it with a socket and nut driver. I can almost take each screw out with my fingers.

The glue i bought was a two part epoxy and it came in like a syringe looking thing and it was a resin and hardener. When i go over to the garage today i will see how the epoxy bonded and ill tell you how it worked.
Not to be a dink, but what color is dark white?? I've never seen that before. Or did you mean grey?? Come on, you know that is funny when you read it, LOL
