Can you replace one hinge at a time without removing the door? I just rebuilt some hinges and I want to replace my old ones with them by myself one at a time

Take a look at your door hinge bolts. Can you access all of the bolts from the outside, or will you have to remove the doorskin or inner skin to get at them?

You usually only need to rebuild the upper one. This can be done without taking the hinge off the door or car frame. You need to support the door to do this, and you need new pins and bushings to rebuild the hinges.
