Oh well back to the drawing board i couldnt get the 400 pontiac to mate tothe the th425 due to starter oil pump issues. so i will be selling the 400 pontiac and building someother motor!

I am planning on the pontiac/425 swap, and would like to have more info on the problem.
I know there is at least 1 of these setups around.

I don't know the details but if a 455 will fit, a 400 will:

What is interfering with the starter and oil pump?
