I have a used one that has a knocking rod in mantua, ohio. I've been trying to get rid of it, it could be a great engine to have rebuilt by a shop and then put into your car. If you're intrested let me know (PM or email), I'll check with the other people who were intrested in it but never picked it up just to make sure they aren't going to pick it up.

I have a 2.8 that has been rebuilt. It has new pistons completely redone heads. The Previous owner took the crank out for some reason, it looked ok. I think a set of bearings and good to go. Let me know-make me an offer. I am in Minnesota, but have access to shipping at work. Take care,

Greg

chameleogaz, I appreciate your offer. However, I do not know anyone in this area that can do the rebuild for me. If you know of a shop/person please let me know.

Greg,

I'll have to get back to ya on your offer. I think I am going to see what I might be able to do in this area first. I sincerely appreciate you offer. You mentioned that the previous owner took the crank out? Does that mean there still is not one there? Do I need to have a crank put in?

Jake,

I have the crank and everything to finish the longblock-just need to have the bearings and crank put back in. The pistons/rods are in the block. They look like new. I could meet you in Wisconsin if that would help (near Milwaukee). Ask if you have anymore questions.

I have several rebuildable V6 engines for sale .... the builder I use is Mets Machine (NAPA) in Mansfield. There are many such shops in and around the Akron area !!! Not the least of which is Summit Racing !
