i just picked up a 96 park avenue, and was wondering if they used the paskey in these models? thanks

If you have the ignition key just look at it, if it has a resistor chip on it then the car has a passkey module. I believe 98 up Park Avenues used the pass key III transponder type which is harder to work with.

The 1994 Park Avenue near my home has PASSKEY.

Actually after doing alittle more research the Vats or Passlock2 system is standard on the 96 park avenue. So yes it will have it.
